What is your diet/lifestyle? Vegan
What attracted you to eating that type of diet? I love animals far too much to eat them or rely on them for any materials and its the healthiest way to live.
Which sports & activities are your passionate about? Track running, cross country running, road running, weight training, and all forms of strength & conditioning.
What is one of your greatest athletic moments? Winning the Southport 5k on the morning of my 30th birthday last year – a great start to my birthday!
What goal(s) do you currently have, and how do you plan on achieving it? To get faster and stronger and I am confident I will achieve this with my tailored diet, fitness & supplementation plan – as featured in “Gone in 60 minutes” the book.
What is your favorite fuel before activity? Carb gels are great for me, they are easy enough to carry around and I use them before heavy training sessions and races. Sesame snap bars sweetened with coconut are another favorite option.
What is your favorite food for recovery? Tofu with a heap of vegetables and a nut cutlet. This gives me a nice mix of nutrients and protein to help me recover at a quicker pace. I also take pea protein shakes with berries for added benefit.
What/Who inspires you? All “green” athletes – along with people like us, they are fast proving to the world that meat is not needed to succeed in sports and fitness.
What is a random fact about you that people might not know? I am terrified of the sea – I am scared of dark waters.
